Central Sector Scheme under Blue Revolution Concept-Repair and Renovation of Fish Farm
Fish is the cheapest and most easily digestible animal protein and was obtained from natural sources from time immemorial for consumption by human beings. However, due to over exploitation and pollution, the availability of fish in natural waters has declined considerably forcing scientists to adopt various methods to increase its production.‘‘NEEL KRANTI 2020” -Blue revolution in the fisheries sector. With a vision of, “Creating an enabling environment for integrated development of the full potential of fisheries of the country, along with substantially improvement in the income status of fishers and fish farmers keeping in view the sustainability, bio-security and environmental concerns.”
Eligibility Condition
Fish farmers those who are enrolled in District Fish Farmer’s Development Agency (DFFDA) in Krishnagiri District and to promote GIFT culture in Krishnagiri District.
Procedure to obtain the benefit/Service
Members of district fish farmers development agency can approach the Inspector of Fisheries/Sub-Inspector of Fisheries office directly in their respective blocks along with application form, Ration card (Photo copy), Aadhar card (Photo copy), Bank passbook (Photo copy), land documents (Including Patta, Chitta, FMB Sketch)
