Information:
Private and Government lands are acquired for public purpose for the State and Central Government Departments based on the requisition/LPS obtained from the requisitioning bodies / department under the provision of Land Acquisition Act, 1956. In addition, lands are being acquired under the National Highways Acts for facilitating the land acquisition for developing infrastructure for Highway Network in the State.

National Highways Act, under the 1956 (48 of 1956) the Central and State Government that the lands specified are needed for public purpose for the brief description of which is given in is required for building (widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four-laning etc.,), maintenance, management and operation of NH-948 (Old NH-209) in the stretch of Land Acquisition for 4/6 laning of Coimbatore to Sathyamangalam and 2 laning with/ without paved shoulder from Sathyamangalam to Tamil Nadu/ Karnataka Border section of NH 948 (Old NH 209)(Existing Km 306.715 to Km 211.980) (Design Km 304.193 to Km 211.980) for Design length of in Erode District.
2.Schemes Implementation in NH-381A
National Highways Act, under the 1956 (48 of 1956) the Central and State Government that the lands specified are needed for public purpose for the brief description of which is given in is required for building (widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four-laning etc.,), maintenance, management and operation of NH-381A in the stretch of land Vellakovil – Sankagiri Road from Km. 0.0 to Km. 59.097 of NH-381A in 27.01 Km Erode District of the State of TAMIL NADU.
