Subsidy for the installation of Drip irrigation

Subsidy for the installation of Drip irrigation is offered to manage available water and to withstand drought to ensure uninterrupted silkworm rearing.

Eligibility Condition

Any Farmer who has Mulberry garden and doing silkworm rearing is eligible. Small farmer can avail 100% (Rs.30000) subsidy while producing small farmer certificate. Whereas big farmers can avail 75% (Rs. 22500) subsidy

Procedure to obtain the benefit/Service

• Filled in application recommended by JIS, IS, AD
• Farmer’s passport size photograph – 3
• Farmer’s full size photo taken with lateral tubes, Filter and in mulberry garden -2 copies each
• Chitta and adangal of the mulberry garden
• Bond of agreement in the stamp paper of Rs.100
• Adhaar card xerox, ration card xerox, Bank passbook xerox –each 2copies
